Approximately thirty seven years ago, I was President of Holt W.I. I noticed Liz had a Michael Ball key ring. Our conversation went something like this. "Hello I see you're a Michael Ball fan too. Have you been to his concerts?" Liz replied that she had. I said" if you ever want company, I would love to go." The rest they say is history. We went to many concerts in Liverpool & Manchester over the years & many dinners out. We even met the man himself. I began an enduring & very special friendship with Liz. I'm so much richer for having had her in my life. Liz was a loyal & true friend. I always felt better for seeing her. It was Liz who introduced me to the gym which we both loved. Her wisdom & advice was always welcome & if you were feeling low she would lift you.

Liz loved her family & enjoyed preparing food for family gatherings. Liz was always young at heart & a very stylish lady. At birthdays & Christmas, her presents were always put together with a lot of love & thought & beautifully wrapped. I will treasure the Rose bush that she bought me for my recent birthday. I will never forget her & she will be forever in my heart.
